When legal issues arise, they rarely do so at a convenient time. Whether you are facing a dispute, navigating a family transition, planning for the future, or running a small business, legal questions can feel overwhelming, especially if you are unsure where to start.
That is why we created this blog.
For over twenty years, I have helped people take control of situations and conquer one of the largest fears that we have all faced...the fear of the unknown. At Collins Law, PLLC, my practice is built around three core principles: Educate. Navigate. Advocate. We believe that informed clients make better decisions, and that understanding the legal process is the first step toward reducing stress and uncertainty.
Our firm serves individuals, families, and small to medium-sized businesses throughout Northern Virginia and beyond. We focus our practice on family law, estate planning, litigation, and business representation. Across all of these areas, our approach remains the same: provide clear explanations, practical guidance, and thoughtful advocacy tailored to each client’s circumstances.
This blog is intended to be a resource. Here, we will share general information about the law and state and federal interpretations of that law, explain common legal processes, and address questions we frequently hear from clients. The goal is not to provide legal advice, but to help you better understand your options and feel more confident when legal issues arise.
If you are dealing with a legal matter and would like to speak with an attorney, we encourage you to contact our office directly. We are always happy to discuss your situation and help you determine the next best step. If it is not a matter that we can help you with, we have a trusted network of attorneys that we can refer to who share our same outlook and approach.
In 2026 and beyond, we look forward to sharing insights with you and hope this blog becomes a helpful part of your legal journey.
